Title: Equipping Ministry Team – Team Member

Purpose: To grow faith by expanding leadership roles within St. Luke’s; to offer people the opportunity to connect their faith through service.

Responsible to: Equipping Ministry Team, Director of Servant Ministry, Clergy Team and Executive Team

Description of Duties: Identify potential leaders for teams at St. Luke’s. Match the spiritual gifts, passions, and skills of the people of St. Luke’s to the needs of St. Luke’s. Make individual contacts to invite people to be a part of a St. Luke’s Ministry Team. Support healthy transitions of leaderships at St. Luke’s. Serve as the Equipping Liaison to your specific teams to identify current and upcoming needs.

Time Requirements: Team Spring, Aug., Sept., Oct. and Nov. meetings. Term: 3 years

Training and Resources: Equipping Ministry Binder and the Spiritual gifts assessment. Training provided through the team and the Director of Servant Ministry.

Skills and gifts: Administration, Discernment, Encouragement, Helps, Hospitality, Faith, and Leadership

Benefits to one serving in this role: Getting to know the congregation on a personal level, seeking to understand individual gifts and passions.  Equipping our church to be servant led.
